The edtpa lesson plan template seems excessive, is there a better template i should use for my lesson plans? My university's lesson plan is pretty in depth and might require more than what you have.

Edtpa expects highly detailed and intentional lesson planning, and the performing ensemble is just not the easiest place to do that i think. Are you given the students' names prior to the demo? Edtpa is a fucking waste of time and has no merit on how effective of a teacher you’ll be, just how good you are at jumping through hoops. No lesson plan on the world could prepare you for a t1 urban school. Get it done as early as you can. Not how great your lesson plans are or anything else.
